Man Shot In Chinatown

SF: MAN IN STABLE CONDITION, SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER SHOOTING

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

A man is in stable condition at a local hospital and a suspect is under arrest after a shooting in the Chinatown neighborhood of San Francisco early this morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 1:20 a.m. near the intersection of Jackson Street and Grant Avenue, according to San Francisco police.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting, according to police, who said no suspect information was immediately available.

On a positive note, it seems that there have been a lot of arrests this year by the SFPD compared to prior years. It is great to see. Now I just hope the DA will step up and do her job.

just because things look good so far doesnt mean that they go awaay. i hope that this is the preformence we continue to see both from the police, but also camila harris...i dont feel any safer just because we have a low homicide rate. been seeing a few beat cops in my nieghborhood. its about time
