At Least 36 Arrested During New Year's

SF: POLICE MAKE AT LEAST 36 ARRESTS DURING NEW YEAR'S EVE FESTIVITIES

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

At least 36 people were arrested in San Francisco Wednesday night and this morning as a result of New Year's Eve festivities in the city, according to police Sgt. Wilfred Williams.

Police made 30 arrests for being drunk in public in the areas of Broadway, Market Street and Embarcadero, Williams said.

Five arrests were made for a variety of misdemeanor offenses, according to Williams, who said police also made one arrest for a felony warrant.
