SFPD Says 2 Mission District Shootings Linked
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
Police in San Francisco are investigating two apparently related shootings in the Mission District Friday night that sent four victims to the hospital, three of them with critical injuries.
Officers responded to a shooting at about 10 p.m. at 24th and Capp streets where two men were found suffering major gunshot injuries, police said. The victims were transported to an area hospital and reported to be in critical condition Saturday morning.
Police responded to a second shooting at about 11:15 p.m., also in the Mission District in the 500 block of Shotwell Street. Two men were shot and reported by police to be in stable condition this morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the two shootings are related, police said.
No arrests were made in connection with either shooting, according to police.
