Two shot Sunday morning

Two victims took themselves to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center at 5:30 a.m. with gunshot wounds. They were then transferred to SFGH. There's no other information. I'm guessing they were shot in the Western Addition, if they took themselves to Kaiser...

Update: Looks like they were shot on the 100 block of Turk street, in the Tenderloin.

Early on Saturday morning (10/20) there was a shooting in front of my house on the corner of 19th and Capp. My neighbor, who was awakened by four or five gun shots, found a man face down in a pool of blood. The police arrived and performed CPR, then loaded him into an ambulance. When I woke up at 6AM, the street was blocked off with police tape and a homicide investigator was walking up and down the street along with two regular cops. I haven't seen this story written up in SF Gate yet, but heads up.... unclear whether the guy died or not.

So that looks like at least 4 people shot on Sunday in SF, with one in pretty bad shape, or possibly dead. There was also a man shot in the foot this morning in Hunters Point.

I guess I should be used to it now, but I'm still amazed at the fact that the Chronicle has reported several non fatal shootings from other cities in the Bay Area this weekend, but any word on those that occurred here in SF are kept to a bare minimum, with just the shooting in Vis Valley being briefly mentioned. Of course at the same time, the Chronicle is giving a whole lot of attention to Oakland...

I heard there was Another Shooting on Saturday - October 20, 2007 at approx. 11:30am at the corner of Jones and Golden Gate.

A young black man was in line for the daily food service at St. Anthony's when a car crept up and a black man exited the vehicle; walked up to the victim and shot him with a revolver in the chest.

This has NOT been confirmed yet... please provide any details to us here: sfhomeless@yahoo.com
