SF Police Chase, Arrest Suspects; Officer Hurt
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― A San Francisco police officer received non-life threatening leg or ankle injuries during a Thursday night pursuit that ended in two arrests, according to the Police Department.
Officers were notified Thursday to be on the watch for suspects in a vehicle with guns and located a vehicle matching the description around 11:40 p.m. in the area of Powell Street and Pacific Avenue, police said.
A vehicle pursuit ensued when officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle. The vehicle chase was then followed by a chase on foot, police said.
The pursuit ended with officers arresting two men and locating two guns.
An officer involved in the pursuit reported an ankle or leg injury, but the extent and cause of the injury was not released.
