SF: POLICE SEARCHING FOR 17-YEAR-OLD WHO ALLEGEDLY RAPED, SHOT GIRL
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)
San Francisco police and Yolo County authorities are looking for a 17-year-old San Francisco boy who allegedly raped and shot a 14-year-old girl on March 8.
The incident occurred at a location on Cesar Chavez Street in the Mission District, according to police spokesman Sgt. Neville Gittens.
Gittens said the girl's gunshot wound was not life threatening.
Gittens did not disclose the relationship between the girl and the unnamed juvenile suspect. "They were known to each other," he said.
According to Chief Probation Officer Don Meyer of the Yolo County Probation Department, the boy reportedly has a relative in the West Sacramento area.
"We have notified the West Sacramento Police Department that he's a high-risk offender," Meyer said.
If the boy is found in Yolo County, he will be transferred back to San Francisco, Meyer said.link
