Two shot, one fatally

A person has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred early this morning in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, police said.

Two people were shot at 4th and Howard streets at approximately 1:50 a.m., a fire dispatcher said.

One victim was killed and another suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Also, according to a commenter here, and others on SFist, there was a shooting at 24th and York, at 9:45 Friday night. Around 10 shots fired, one person hit, and another person grazed.

In addition, on Saturday there was apparently an armed carjacking with a shot fired at Kearny and Broadway.
